The school education system mostly tells us what to learn, it does not teach us how we learn.

It was built to put graduates into industry, into lifelong careers.

The world it was built for is largely gone, and our world is changing faster than ever.

School provides structure, clarity, and consistency. This is then ripped out from underneath our feet on graduation day.

This may feel liberating for a time, but now we need to do it all for ourselves, whilst navigating a changing world that we have not been prepared for. Some take to this well, but many clearly do not.

We must learn quickly to survive and thrive, and learn who we are.

Our brains were built for learning, and we have principles, processes, and systems that we have developed over thousands of years to help us.

How to learn just isn't taught at school.
